My story
Hello! My name is Kasia, I am a counsellor with a passion for supporting others in finding strength during life’s challenging moments. I graduated from South Essex College of Further and Higher Education with a BA (Hons) Counselling degree. As an immigrant from Poland who has been living in the UK for the past 20 years, I am personally familiar with the emotional and practical struggles that migration can bring—and I am equipped to explore and work through these challenges with you in the counselling room. Counseling is a form of psychological support. I rely on Person-centered modality. I also have a Life Coaching Certificate issued by Warsaw Business School, and a Sound Bath Practitioner Certificate, which enables me to take a holistic approach to personal development.
I specialise in areas related to:
Codependency,
Loss,
Bereavement,
The Challenge of Living Abroad
Coaching: ( I am helping clients define life goals, develop strategies for achieving success, and offer support and motivation in the self-development process).
Sound Bath Therapy
My mission is to support you in overcoming difficulties, creating positive changes and finding balance.
I am interested in combining various forms of therapy, hence my interest in Sound Therapy, which can be successfully incorporated into our sessions or can be taken alone.
Outside of work, I love cats, good food, wandering in the forest and discovering new places while travelling. I am happy to share my enthusiasm and experience, creating a space for development and self-discovery with you.
I invite you to journey along the path of self-discovery!

My approach to therapy
I approach clients with an unconditional positive attitude, which means that I accept everyone without judgment. This creates a safe and non-threatening environment for the client.
I show empathy by trying to understand the client's perspective and feelings without imposing my own opinions and solutions. This makes the customer feel heard and appreciated.
I support congruence, or authenticity, by being my true and authentic self during sessions. This transparency helps build trust between the client and me.
In a person-centred approach, the client takes the initiative in exploring his or her thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I provide active listening and reflection, reflecting on what the client expresses to facilitate self-awareness.
In our meetings, I avoid giving direct advice and solutions, allowing the client to discover their own observations and solutions. Thanks to this, the client can make positive changes in his life.
Overall, my person-centred approach is characterised by a deep respect for the client's autonomy, a focus on self-discovery and self-acceptance, and a collaborative relationship built on trust and empathy.
